Bearings that are rust-proofed with thick oil and rust-proof grease are heated and dissolved with light mineral oil. The oil temperature should not exceed 100°C. The bearings are usually infiltrated into the oil, and are removed from the oil after it is melted. After cooling, the oil is cleaned with gasoline or oil. Apply a smoothing agent immediately after the bearing is cleaned. Sealed bearings are now added to the manufacturer's smoothing agent and do not require cleaning prior to installation.
